But I digress...

| And running... And running... And running.... |
I've actually come a long way as far as fitness is concerned. I'm now running (Ok, jogging, but most people would call it running, I think) almost 2 miles three times a week.
On a treadmill.
And every single damn time that I'm on the treadmill, I start thinking about hamsters. About the fact that they never realize that they run and run and run and never ever get anywhere...
I wonder sometimes if anyone else finds it funny that there's a line of people running and climbing and elliptical-ing and never getting anywhere. At all.
I feel like they should hook electric appliances up to us or something.
It got me thinking (which, interestingly, I don't do a whole lot of on the treadmill. I'm usually listening to music as loud as I can tolerate...) about the rest of my life. And how it's a lot like being on the treadmill.
Working and working and working and never getting anywhere.
I think it might be time to start trying to run outside again... Both for exercise and in life...
